These pages reproduce the writings of respected public
figures who have devoted themselves since 09-11-01 to examining (and
daring to question) the positions adopted by political leaders and the
mainstream media, and therefore by many of the public they influence,
in response to ensuing events. I have included anything I could find
that represented a sincere re-examination of the issues from an appropriately
knowledgeable, intelligent, and sober standpoint, in the interests of
broadening the public debate--which remains disappointingly devoid of
(indeed hostile to) questioning and dissent.
Because of my desire to publicize "dissenting"
views, but admittedly also because of my personal bias, the writings
reproduced below are for the most part progressive in tone. I welcome
your suggestions for intelligent
conservative commentary, or any other material you feel should be added
to this site.
